How long will a Brazilian Wax Last?
Results typically last 3-4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. Regular wax appointments can help slow down regrowth over time.
How should I prepare for my first wax?
To prepare, exfoliate the area 24 hours prior to your appointment and ensure the hair length is at least 1/2 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for best results. DO NOT SHAVE OR USE ANY DEPILATORY PRODUCTS AT LEAST 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. Avoid applying lotions, oils, or deodorant on the day of your service. Wear comfortable clothing, and you may take Tylenol 30 minutes prior to your appointment to reduce discomfort. You'll be fine!
Can I wax while pregnant?
Absolutely! Waxing is safe during pregnancy. However, your skin may be more sensitive, so I'll be sure to take extra care to ensure you're comfortable.
What kind of wax do you use?
I use a hard creamy wax that removes all hair types, especially thick course hair. For facial wax services, a soft creamy wax (with muslin strip) is used in combination with the hard wax for areas such as eyebrows, lip and chin.
What should I do after my waxing appointment?
Avoid tight clothing, hot showers and baths, tanning, swimming, heavy sweating or sexual activity for 24-48 hours after your wax appointment. Gently exfoliate the area 2-3 times per week in-between appointments to prevent ingrown hairs and keep your skin smooth. Wait 3 days after your wax before exfoliating.
Can I get waxed while on my menstrual cycle?
Yes, you can, however it is required to insert a new tampon or menstrual cup upon arrival to your appointment. Complimentary feminine wipes and tampons are provided. Keep in mind that your skin may be more sensitive at this time.
Can I bring an extra person for support?
To ensure a private and comfortable environment, there are no other persons allowed other than the client who is booked for that appointed time. No children allowed, unless being serviced.
Can I get waxed if I have sensitive skin?
Yes! All products used are skin-friendly wax suitable for sensitive skin. If you have serious concerns, consult with your doctor prior to booking an appointment.
